درمان سرطان و بیماری های صعب العلاج با قارچ های معجزه گر دارویی

اخیرا مطالعات زیادی در ارتباط با پیشگیری و درمان انواع سرطان ها توسط قارچ های دارویی انجام شده است. انواع سرطان و درمانهای قارچی آنها در زیر لیست شده است. برخی از این قارچ ها در اختیار ماست. قارچ ایران زمین در نظر دارد با شرایط خاص آنها را در اختیار بیماران قرار دهد.

کنترل HPV با کمک قارچ های دارویی دم بوقلمون و گنودرما: 61 بیمار که اچ پی وی نوع 16 و 18 داشتند بررسی شدند . پی سی آر تیمار دوم که شامل گنودرما و دم بوقلمون بود بعد از مصرف دو ماه 88درصد افراد منفی شدند. ولی تیمار مختوی قارچ لتیپوروس 5 درصد منفی شدند

Control of Oral Human Papillomavirus (HPV) by Medicinal Mushrooms, Trametes versicolor and Ganoderma lucidum: A Preliminary Clinical Trial

ABSTRACT
This preliminary randomized study investigated the efficacy of medicinal mushrooms, Trametes versicolor (TV), Ganoderma lucidum (GL), and Laetiporus sulphureus (LS), on the clearance of oral human papillomavirus (HPV, serotypes 16 and 18). Among 472 patients who underwent oral swabs for gingivitis, 61 patients were positive for HPV16 or HPV18. Twenty patients were included in group 1 (LS) and 41 patients were included in group 2 (TV+GL) for 2 months. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for HPV was performed at inclusion and after 2 months. In group 1, the clearance was equal to 5% after 2 months of treatment. In group 2, the clearance was equal to 88% (P<0.001). The detection of HPV16 or HPV18 could become relevant in routine since positivity is frequent and because a harmless and costless treatment may exist. The use of TV+GL for the clearance of oral HPV deserves further investigation.

 Downregulation of signalling molecules involved in angiogenesis of prostate cancer cell line (PC-3) by kombucha (lyophilized)

Abstract

Kombucha is a fermented tea beverage produced by fermenting sugared black tea with tea fungus (kombucha). Prostate cancer like other solid tumours is also angiogenesis-dependent. The development of prostate cancer is a multi-step process, advancing from high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) to focal carcinoma, then to invasive carcinoma and finally to metastatic disease. In this study, we examined the anti-angiogenic effect of kombucha on angiogenesis stimulators/regulators (gene expression of human inducible factor-1α, vascular endothelial growth factor, interleukin-8, cyclooxygenase-2, and matrix metalloproteinases) in human androgen-independent prostate cancer cell line. Kombucha remarkably inhibits the angiogenesis through the alterations in the expression of angiogenic stimulators. Our study demonstrates that kombucha significantly decreases the survival of prostate cancer cells by downregulating the expression of angiogenesis stimulators. These findings suggest that kombucha may be useful for the prostate cancer treatment/prevention.

 Agaricus subrufescens (syn. Agaricus blazei, Agaricus brasiliensis or Agaricus rufotegulis) is a species of mushroom, commonly known as almond mushroom, mushroom of the sun, God's mushroom, mushroom of life, royal sun agaricus, jisongrong or himematsutake (Chinese: 杏仁松茸, Japanese: 姫まつたけ, "princess matsutake") and by a number of other names.

 Agaricus Blazei is a cultivated mushroom that is now grown in Brazil, the U.S., Japan, China, Korea and other Asian countries. Former President Ronald Reagan used it to help fight skin cancer, which helped make it more popular. It is said to have the ability to boost the immune system and fight/prevent tumors. Intense Japanese research with Guinea pigs revealed that Blazei prevented cancer development 99.4% and cured it 90%. These dried mushrooms include the stem and cap.

 Agaricus Blazei Murill (ABM) – known in Brazil as “The Mushroom of God.” A Japanese study compared ABM to several other well-known cancer-fighting and immune-boosting mushrooms – and ABM came out at the top of the list. In fact, the studies show ABM is 80% more effective than the world’s number one cancer drug, PSK. ترکیبات موجود در قارچی موسوم به دُم بوقلمون قادر است به میزان صددرصد از بروز سرطان پروستات جلوگیری کند. محققان دانشگاه کویینزلند نشان داده‌اند که قارچ دُم بوقلمون حاوی ترکیباتی به‌نام پی اس پی است که سلول‌های بنیادی سرطان پروستات را مورد حمله قرار می‌دهند و گسترش سلول‌های سرطانی را متوقف می‌کنند. دانشمندان از سال‌ها قبل به خواص ضدسرطانی این قارچ کاملاً واقف بودند ولی تحقیقات اخیر حاکی از توقف حتمی سرطان پروستات در صورت وجود ترکیبات این گیاه است. سالانه حدود سه هزار مرد در استرالیا بر اثر ابتلا به این بیماری مهلک جان خود را از دست می دهند. دانشمندان امیدوارند که با استفاده از ترکیبات موجود در قارچ دُم بوقلمون و ساخت داروهای مکمل با استفاده از آن این بیماری را مهار کنند.

خواص درمانی و کاربردهای صنعتی:

بر اساس مؤسسه ی سرطان شناسی آمریکا، این قارچ تأثیرات ضد سرطانی در انسان ها داشته است. اما تحقیقات مدارک علمی مختلفی وجود دارد که نشان می دهد بخش های خاصی از این قارچ دارای خواص ضد سرطانی هستند. دلیل ضد سرطانی بودن آن نیز وجود پلی ساکارید K (PSK) در آن است. پلی ساکارید K همچنین در درمان ناراحتی ها و سرطان های معده، مری، کُلورِکتال، پستان و ریه نیز مفید می باشد. مطالعات مختلف در افراد نشان داده که PSK می تواند بازگشت سرطان را نیز در انسان کاهش دهد. این قارچ برای مصارف خام خوری بسیار سفت و سخت بوده و از آن در تهیه پودر خشک شده یا به صورت چای یا تنتور (محلول در الکل) نیز می توان استفاده کرد.

Healing Properties

Its main effects are to strengthen the immune system, particularly by enhancing the workings of one of the most critical cells, known as T helper cells. T helper cells tell all the other cells in the immune system what to do and to what degree, and when to stop.

روی سیستم ایمنی تاثیر گدار است، خوصصا فعالیت یکی از سلول های حیاتی به نام سلول های تی را را بالا می برد.

In cancer, the runaway cells often secrete compounds known as cytokines that give false signals to immune cells to stop working. This further enhances the ability of the cancer to survive. An unfortunate side effect of chemotherapy and radiation therapy is that they further damage the immune system, in part by inadvertently killing T helper cells.

Turkey tail mushroom has been the subject of a large number of controlled clinical trials in Asia showing that it can help rebuild the immune system in people with a wide range of cancers. The benefit is quite powerful, for it has been demonstrated again and again that turkey tail, taken together with mainstream cancer therapies, significantly lengthens lifespan by as much as double. Turkey tail is not a magic cure for cancer, but it can definitely extend life.

Turkey tail may also improve quality of life by reducing susceptibility to infections and other negative effects of having a suppressed immune system. More research is needed to quantify these effects, but they should not be overlooked, as living well is just as important as living.

Because of its positive effects on the immune system, it's possible that turkey tail mushroom could prevent cancer or help other conditions in which immune suppression is a major problem, such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Research has yet to be done to investigate turkey tail's potential promise.

 Downregulation of signalling molecules involved in angiogenesis of prostate cancer cell line (PC-3) by kombucha (lyophilized)

Abstract

Kombucha is a fermented tea beverage produced by fermenting sugared black tea with tea fungus (kombucha). Prostate cancer like other solid tumours is also angiogenesis-dependent. The development of prostate cancer is a multi-step process, advancing from high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) to focal carcinoma, then to invasive carcinoma and finally to metastatic disease. In this study, we examined the anti-angiogenic effect of kombucha on angiogenesis stimulators/regulators (gene expression of human inducible factor-1α, vascular endothelial growth factor, interleukin-8, cyclooxygenase-2, and matrix metalloproteinases) in human androgen-independent prostate cancer cell line. Kombucha remarkably inhibits the angiogenesis through the alterations in the expression of angiogenic stimulators. Our study demonstrates that kombucha significantly decreases the survival of prostate cancer cells by downregulating the expression of angiogenesis stimulators. These findings suggest that kombucha may be useful for the prostate cancer treatment/prevention.

 Agaricus subrufescens (syn. Healing Properties

Its main effects are to strengthen the immune system, particularly by enhancing the workings of one of the most critical cells, known as T helper cells. T helper cells tell all the other cells in the immune system what to do and to what degree, and when to stop.

Turkey tail is not a magic cure for cancer, but it can definitely extend life.

Turkey tail may also improve quality of life by reducing susceptibility to infections and other negative effects of having a suppressed immune system. More research is needed to quantify these effects, but they should not be overlooked, as living well is just as important as living.

Because of its positive effects on the immune system, it's possible that turkey tail mushroom could prevent cancer or help other conditions in which immune suppression is a major problem, such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Research has yet to be done to investigate turkey tail's potential promise.

Turkey Tail Mushrooms and Immunomodulation in Breast CancerRadiotherapy and chemotherapy usually impair the immune system in cancer patients. Researchers at the University of Minnesota Medical School and Bastyr University Research Institute wondered whether Coriolus versicolor extract could be used to restore the immune system and improve the health of women with breast cancer after they had undergone radiation therapy.

The study they published in 2012 shows that turkey tail mushroom extract can successfully complement conventional radiotherapy by increasing the activity of natural killer cells and “cytotoxic T-cells” – which likely attack and kill off any remaining cancerous cells.

Natural killer (NK) cells are specialized immune cells that can recognize and bind to certain tumor cells and virus-infected cells and kill them. Similarly, cytotoxic T-cells are a type of white blood cell that kills cancer cells, cells that are infected (especially with viruses), or cells that are damaged in other ways.

In this study, nine women with breast cancer were given either 3, 6, or 9 grams of turkey tail mushroom extract over a period of 4 weeks and their immune data was measured before and after radiation therapy.

This extract was reasonably well tolerated by these women. Their immune data showed that both their lymphocyte counts and functional activity of natural killer cells increased at daily doses of 6 and 9 grams. Further, the higher the dose, the greater the number of cytotoxic T-cells patrolling in their blood looking for cancer cells to kill.

This study showed that Coriolus versicolor extract is safe to give to women with breast cancer and that it can restore their impaired immune system after standard radiotherapy.

Trametes Versicolor Extract and Lung Cancer: A Review

Trametes Versicolor Extract and Lung CancerAs stated already, an extract or extracts of Coriolus versicolor (aka Trametes versicolor) have been patented in Japan under the name Polysaccharide K, also known as PSK or Krestin. PSK is widely used in Japan as a complementary immunotherapy for treating many cancers, including lung cancer.

A systematic review of PSK’s safety and efficacy in lung cancer treatment was carried out in 2015, in which 28 studies were included for review and analysis.

Fifteen of 17 studies confirmed that PSK had anti-cancer effects by directly inhibiting tumors leading to less cancer growth and anti-metastatic effects, as well as via immunomodulation and boosting immune system activity. Metastasis is the ability of cancer cells to leave the area of the body they originally grew in and move to another area, starting a new tumor or multiple new tumors.

This review showed that both median survival and survival after 1, 2, and 5 years were noticeably better after PSK treatment. Immune parameters, blood function, body weight, and tumor-related symptoms such as fatigue and anorexia were all improved in lung cancer patients treated with PSK.

In summary, the authors concluded that PSK can stop the growth of lung cancers, improve immune function, reduce tumor-associated symptoms, and extend survival in lung cancer patients undergoing standard radiation and chemotherapy. They strongly advocate setting up larger randomized controlled trials to better understand the ability of PSK to treat lung cancer patients.

    A 2015 laboratory study showed that an extract of protein-bound polysaccharides isolated from turkey tail mushrooms significantly slowed the growth of breast cancer cells.     A study from the Queensland University of Technology showed that PSP targets prostate cancer stem cells and prevents the formation of prostate tumors in a mouse model of prostate cancer. In the words of the lead researcher, “In the past, other inhibitors have been shown to be up to 70 percent effective, but we’re seeing 100 percent of this tumor prevented from developing with PSP. Importantly, we did not see any side effects from the treatment.” PSP’s much greater effectiveness may be due to the fact that while conventional therapies target only cancer cells, PSP also destroys cancer stem cells which initiate cancer and cause its progression. In other words, PSP treatment may be able to completely prevent prostate tumor formation.

In summary, various extracts of turkey tail mushrooms prevent the formation and growth of many different types of cancers. Additionally, they reduce treatment-related side effects and restore weakened immune systems in cancer patients who have been subjected to harmful chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
